After giving your agent your list of needs and wants, and possibly even a list of houses you've picked out online, set a day to go house hunting. Your agent will set up tours of the houses you picked and possibly add a few that fit your criteria. As you tour each house, tell your agent what you like best and least. After each tour, determine which house is number 1. At the end of the day, if the number 1 house is determined to be the house, you're ready to make an offer. If not, discuss with your agent the reason it's number 1 but not quite right. Set another day to tour houses. Repeat until you find THE HOUSE for you.
