Part 1 - EXPERIENCE
- How long have you been licensed?
I earned my first license in the 1990s while managing the Real Estate Services and GIS Department at Alabama Power.
Note: According to Tom Ferry, founder and CEO of Ferry International, 87% of real estate agents fail within their first five years, primarily due to a lack of self-discipline. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reports that 75% fail in their first year. Choose an experienced, proven agent like me. - How many houses do you sell each year?
I typically sell between 25 and 45 homes annually.
Note: NAR statistics show that newer agents (with less than two years of experience) sell only 2-6 homes per year, while experienced agents (with three or more years of experience) sell about 12 homes annually. My sales volume is two to four times the average for seasoned agents. - How do you keep up with everything?
I have a full-time licensed assistant who is also a trained project manager and closing coordinator. When I’m unavailable, my assistant ensures that your home sale and closing progress without a hitch. With us, you get the benefit of a two-for-one approach. Plus, I am a techno-nerd. I keep up with the latest technologies such as apps and software that help me manage everything and keep sales and purchases on track for my clients.
Part 2 - PROFESSIONALISM
- Are you a REALTOR®?
Yes, as a REALTOR®, I am a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the country’s largest professional organization. Members adhere to a strict code of ethics and conduct that goes above and beyond legal requirements.
Note: About half of all real estate agents are not REALTORS®. - Do you have any professional designations?
Yes, I am an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, having completed specialized training and experience to focus on the needs of buyers. While I also work extensively with sellers, I feel my years of experience help buyers the most —especially first-time buyers. - Where is your copy of the NAR Code of Ethics?
I keep a copy in both my office and my briefcase. I include it in all my listing and selling presentations so clients know what to expect from me and I welcome accountability to the code. - How will you communicate with me?
My answer is always the same: "What do you prefer? Phone, text, or email?" I want to ensure our communication is as seamless and convenient for you as possible.
